Notes

Attendee Chris Black has said:

I went to see DM in Dallas, TX at Reunion Arena. They had the stage pushed up to where just about 1/4th of the seats were available, and they didn't even fill up! My buddy and I had seats close to center stage on the floor. It was almost like a close up mini concert, compared to later DM concert tours where the crowds were massive.

Attendee Todd Tarkington provided the following information about some photographs he took during the concert, and regarding the attendance at this concert:

The film and camera was actually confiscated by Reunion Arena security, but while my friends and I were arguing with them we drew the attention of DM’s security people and they took the camera and film away from the Reunion Arena people and gave it back to me. This was only possible because we were right up front and center near the void before the stage where DM’s security people were controlling the area in front of the stage. I would disagree with the comment made by Chris Black about the crowd, as I felt like there were very few empty seats (I had friends in the upper balcony) for the portion of the arena that was used for the concert. It was definitely crowded right up front where he said he was, as I was (see the ticket) 2nd row center stage. I remember going to an Echo and the Bunnymen concert in 1988 that was fairly sparse for attendance, but not the Depeche Mode in 1987.

Nitzer Ebb was supposed to be the support act but couldn't get a visa in time, so Voice Farm was the support act.
